5th US House of Representatives nominating convention
Ct Dems have gathered in Waterbury tonight to nominate our candidate for the US House of Representatives. Chris Donovon, Elizabeth Esty and Dan Roberti are the three hopefuls vying to win the party nomination. US Senate Convention is underway!
The Newtown DTC delegation has 13 delegates today to nominate the Democratic candidate for the fall election. The Kaiser Hall at CCSU in New Britain is packed with delegates and elected officials. Chris Murphy won easily with 76% of the delegates, but Bysiewicz will be forcing a primary which will be on August 14th.

Nancy Wyman coming to Newtown
Our Lt. Governor will be the main guest speaker at our JJB dinner on June 5th. The evening will be honoring Herb Rosenthal, tickets are $60 per person. The event will be in the Alexandria Room at Edmond Town Hall.
