This rally is directly before the Board of Education meeting which has been moved to the Newtown High School. As noted on the public agenda, the only item they will be discussing is:

RECONSIDERATION OF LIBRARY MEDIA MATERIALS
The Special Review Committee made up of educators voted unanimously 5-0 against banning Flamer and Blankets. Yet the Republican majority of the BOE ignored the experts and voted against taking their recommendations and instead postponed the decision until May 16.
