Thank you to all that turned out at the Newtown Middle School on a Tuesday night to be involved in local political issues. We had a great turn-out of over 200 people, mostly voters and some spectators.
Congratulations to LeReine Frampton for her nomination to continue as Newtown’s Democratic Registrar of Voters.
Congratulations to Eva Bermudez-Zimmerman in winning her chance to represent the 106th District in Newtown as our Democratic candidate in November. Eva’s hard work and knowledge of the legislative process will be a tremendous asset to us all in Hartford.
A special thanks to Kyle Lyddy for all his work on the Sandy Hook Permanent Memorial Commission and for his efforts to make Newtown and CT a better place to live and work. Kyle ran a very positive campaign for the 106th nomination and we look forward to his continued work as chair of the Memorial Commission and dedication to Newtown.
We will be updating the site over the summer with information on all of the Democratic candidates running for office in this election cycle that would be representing Newtown.
