Dear Friends of the Newtown Democratic Town Committee,
On October 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the Castle Hill Farm, we will be hosting an event honoring Selectman Maureen Crick Owen as her third and unfortunately final term comes to an end. As the highest ranking Democrat in our municipal government, we will be honoring Maureen for her commitment to our party and service to our town.
I would like to encourage you to join us for this special evening. I am also pleased to mention that State dignitaries such as Lt. Governor Susan Bizewicks, Attorney General William Tong, State Representative Raghib Ali Brennan, representatives from Congresswoman Jahana Hayes’ office a few more surprise local dignitaries and current members of our democratic slate will be celebrating with us.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to briefly pause our campaign work and come together as Democrats to celebrate one of our own.
