Professional Experience:

Entered the entertainment industry at Jhana Sound in Sandy Hook, who recorded artists like Arch angel, Charlie and the Midnights and Michael Bolton and more I cannot remember, went on to work on the launch of The Charles Ives Center for the arts, spent 4 years at Candlewood Playhouse in New Fairfield as the public relations director, fell in love with MTV at its inception in 1982, went on to work on Rock Videos, stumbled into movies and commercials, fell in to live concerts in and around New York, working for Ron Delsner from 1987-1990, was scooped up by the Rolling Stones and sent to Europe in 1990 and went on to work shows for U2, Pink Floyd, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond and the Woodstock franchise.

Started a bedding line little merry fellows in 1998.

Bought and restored the old Sandy Hook post office and opened a retail store in 2001 called the little green barn.

Currently I am a Set decorator on the NBC TV show, “Believe” debuting in the spring of 2014.

Public/Community Service:

Launched the Sandy Hook Organic farmers market in 2003.

Worked on the Sandy Hook streetscape project, completed (phase 1) in 2006 and hoping to update the projection system at the Edmond Town Hall Theater.

Education:

Attended all Newtown public schools, graduated from the Institute of audio research in New York City 1981.

Personal:

Mother of Cleo Shea Conk and wife of John Charles Conk.

We reside on Walnut Tree Hill Road in Sandy Hook.
