I am proud to be raising 3 wonderful children in Newtown and I am inspired to offer my own services to improve the quality of life in our community. The Board of Finance is an advisory Board which provides guidance of fiscal responsibility to town leaders. This effort requires collaboration with other town Boards to maintain excellence throughout the education system and support our town-wide services. Newtown is at a very critical point in our history in which we need to ensure we have a balanced approach to address short-term and long-term needs in our community. I believe that my experiences and my proven track record in financial planning, cost management, innovative solutions, and operating policy will add value to the Board. I will support education in a fiscally responsible manner, the community voice, improved transparency and communication, balanced and responsible growth, and creative tax solutions.
