Maureen Crick Owen

Maureen Crick OwenObjectives:

I am currently a member of the Board of Assessment Appeals and am seeking to be reelected to this position. I have a very strong interest in serving our community and feel that I can make a contribution through participation in town government.
I will continue to represent the people of Newtown fairly and objectively as a member of the Board of Assessment Appeals.  I have and will continue to work closely with my fellow board members and the Assessor’s office to ensure that the residents of Newtown are fairly assessed on their real and personal property.  With over 30 years experience as a paralegal specializing in commercial and residential real estate and with 15 years as clerk to the Borough Zoning Commission and Borough Zoning Board of Appeals, I have gained excellent experience that will help me to continue to serve on the Board of Assessment Appeals.
