I was born and raised in Bridgeport Ct. I moved, with my wife and two children, to Newtown in 1987. My wife is a retired teacher/ librarian in the Ridgefield Ct. school system. Our son teaches chemistry at Newtown High School and our daughter works as a Para in our school district.

I’m certified by the state of Connecticut to make judgment calls on issues involving land use and development. We need Planning and Zoning officials who are well versed in the law with regards to regulations ordinances and statutes. We must make clear decisive and well researched decisions for the betterment and growth of Newtown.

Experience

I presently serve as an elected official on The Zoning Board of Appeals. While being elected to the ZBA I have also served on The Lake Lillinonah Authority, and presently serve as Chair of The Fairfield Hills Authority. I also was co-chair of the Commission On Aging here in Newtown. When I served as co-chair of the Commission On Aging I worked with the First Selectman and The Community Development team that acquired a 200 thousand dollar Small Town Grant to build the addition to the original Senior Citizens’ Center. When serving on the Lake Lillinonah Authority I was involved with the closing of the railroad trash substation in Hawleyville. Serving on The Fairfield Hills Authority I contacted and secured the complete documentation of the facility from the State of CT. We are presently working with the National Historic Registry in Washington DC to designate the Fairfield Hills Campus as an Historic
